Located a short 8 miles from the Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport getting to your beach home away from home (aka Sun Tower) is a breeze. A quick Uber ride from the airport will cost you about $20. Once you’re here there’s plenty of beach to explore. Take a ride on the Circuit tram to cruise the famous Fort Lauderdale Beach Strip on A1A. And if you’re the exploring type take a ride on the brand new Brightline train which connects you to Miami or West Palm Beach in less than 30 minutes each way. The Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station is less than 5 miles away.

THINGS TO DO

Fort Lauderdale is famous for it’s beaches and infamous for it’s many restaurants and bars. Probably the most famous spot is the Elbo Room. Made famous after its debut in the 1960’s film Where The Boys Are, this is the birthplace of spring break. Not into the spring break scene? For a more layed back experience stop by the Historic Bonnet House and Gardens. Stroll the magnificent tropical garden and learn about the unique history of Fort Lauderdale. If you’re into shopping, Las Olas Blvd is for you! With tons of unique shops and restaurants you could fill a whole day walking this beautiful strip…that is IF you are getting tired of the world class beach right outside your room.
